Comment pin feature is available to all Instagram users

Instagram has announced that it has started working on adding a “pin comments” feature to all users around the world, after it was announced a few weeks ago. This feature helps you to pin three comments to any of your posts. Instagram announced the pinned comments feature on May 12th. It allows users to pin three comments to any post, the user will find the "Pin" icon and when you click on it, the target comment will be pinned so that those pinned comments will always remain at the top.

Among the features announced in May was the ability to block multiple accounts that shared those negative comments together. To get around the issue of tagging on Instagram, the company "said" that it will allow users to select which accounts can tag them in posts, including choosing: all people, accounts to follow, or no one.
It is noteworthy that the launch of the pinned comments feature comes days after Instagram began testing a feature that allows its users to see more stories together. In the test, users will initially see two rows of stories instead of the current single row at the top of the screen, when they open the Instagram application, but there will be a button below the two rows, and by clicking on it, you will see all the stories on one page that fills the screen

The new feature includes restricting mentioning users in comments, captions, and stories. It is designed to allow the post author to control the intent of the post by highlighting positive comments, and moderating negative and offensive comments that typically appear among other comments.

It is noteworthy that Instagram began testing the installed comments feature about two months ago, in conjunction with the launch of the mass deletion tool for comments. Now users can pin comments by swiping left to reveal the Report, Delete, and Reply options.

 This feature allows for better control over comments and to show the positive ones, and with regard to usability, all the user has to do is scroll on one of the comments to show him the options for reporting, deleting and replying, and now at the top of the pop-up menu, the user will find the “Pin” icon, and when pressing On them the target suspension will be installed.

One such feature that the Instagram app has been missing is the ability to pin comments at the top. This can be useful for brands who want to highlight important information for a product.
